BACKGROUND:

Campus Connect is basically a project aimed at linking all Kenyan Universities and tertiary

from different universities and institutions will get a chance to follow up what is happening in
their own university, other universities and campuses across the country through an interactive
platform and blogs posted on the website.

WHAT NECESSITATED THE IDEA?

Campus Connect was born after an urge to try and up all universities to share the same platform
evolved. The idea was immensely thought about and evaluated hence the creation of the website
to facilitate and aid free flow of information to a bigger audience.

OBJECTIVES:

   1. To improve the communication network between different campuses through this site.
   2. To market/ create awareness of social events happening in universities. i.e. Mr. & Miss
       University Pageants.
   3. To promote raw talent among the students by marketing their creative items such as
songs, dances, theatrics, and innovations using the website.
   4. To report on sporting activities that universities engage in.
   5. To market the member universities to viewers.
   6. To create a job portal where-by we will advertise for job vacancies, internship
opportunities and link up students with potential employers.
   7. To advocate for peaceful co-existence between university students.
   8. To promote self-employment amongst students through creating a platform where-by
they can buy/sell their products online.
   9. To promote hosting of campus events such as sporting activities and exchange-programs
to ensure there interaction of universities from time to time.
   10. To promote awareness forums among the youth on current issues; i.e. politics.
   11. To also create a platform for corporates to market/sell their products on the website.

effectively, the CAMPUS CONNECT TEAM is going to embark on a CAMPUS CONNECT
TOUR on all universities in the country in an entourage of celebrated musicians and public
figures in the entertainment industry to create an awareness and popularize the project
by getting each campus to join and participate in the project. More-over, as the CAMPUS
