This project involved learning how to identify reliable websites from unreliable ones using 8 criteria: authorship, aims, achievement of aims, relevance, verifiability, date, bias, and choices presented. Students had to find information for a newspaper article using these criteria and explain whether sites were biased, nonsense, or reliable.
The student was unsatisfied with their final product because they forgot to explain website bias. They learned how to identify reliable sites using the 8 criteria to find real information without being teased. For improvement, they would provide more details on Petr Cech's friends' reactions to his injury and more information on biased sites to make their newspaper more professional.
