Protean 1.1 is a collaboration software that allows users to login, select projects they are involved in, add new projects, view tasks, files to download/upload with upload/download controls, drawing tools, project chat, collaborators, and file comments and approvals. It provides keyboard shortcuts for navigation and tools and allows generating PDF reports for a selected date.

- 2. Login Screen Input the serverIP for the server to connect to and your user credentials to enter protean. Once validated, you can choose projects for which you are a collaborator and may also add new projects by pressing the ‘Add Project’ button.

- 4. PROJECTS FILES TO BE DOWNLOADED DATE TO UPLOAD FILES TO BE UPLOADED
- 5. Live upload/download Pause download Cancel upload
- 6. The uploads directory should be the directory where all the project folders are present. Eg. In your D:/Projects folder you have all the directories of the folders, i.e., BR, TM etc. Your uploads dir would be “D:/Projects” The files should be kept two levels below the date folder. Eg. D:/Projects/BR/2011/06_June/25/M od/file.avi

- 8. Pressing this button under files list opens a file filter window where the criteria for fetching files onto your system can be stored.
- 9. Pressing this button on top right of the application will start pdf generation for current date.
