1. How does the teacher teach science in kinder learner?
The teacher teaches science in kinder learner by preparing the lesson plan and
instructional materials before facing his/her learner. The teacher should know the
interest of his/her learner so that there will be cooperation and collaboration in
doing the learning process. Teaching science is difficult; but if the teacher will allow
the kinder learner to explore by doing the activity more interesting by letting the
kinder learners have their hands on learning there will be a smooth-sealing process.
In addition, attending seminars in teaching science in kindergarten so that there will
be improvement in teaching kindergartner. The teacher should always put in mind
that the kindergarten learners should not impede on a paper-pencil test rather than
learning while they are having FUN!
2. Design of Integrative Teaching in Science.

Sing the song: Five senses
Questions: What is the use of our eyes?
What are the things can we see in God creation?
Unlocking of difficulties
2. Motivation:
Sensory walk: the pupils will visit the 3 stations where they are going to observe the things
found in each station.
B. Development of the Lesson
1. Lesson Proper:
What are the things found in station number 1? Station Number 2? Station Number 3
Answer:
The things found in station 1 are drum, bell and whistle.
Station Number 2: guitar, cans, marbles

Question: What is the sound of the drum? Bell? Whistle? telephone?
Answer:
Drum: Boom-boom
Bell: ting-ting
Whistle: ppppprrrt-ppppprrrrt
Telephone: kring-kring-kring
Question: What part of our body that enables us to hear the sounds?
Answer: The part of our body that enables us to hear the sounds is the ears.
(The teacher will let the pupils watch and listen to the following picture sound)
1. volcanic eruption
2. babies crying
3. bell
4. alarm clock
5. sound of different animals
6. sounds of thunder
7. rain
Question: Why can we hear those sounds from the different objects?
Answer: We can hear those sounds because of our ears.
Question: What is the use of our ears?
Answer: It is use for Hearing
PICTURES THAT SHOW THE USES OF OUR EARS
Question: How
do we take good care of our ears? And what are those cleaning materials to be used?
Answer: We take good care of our ears by cleaning it twice a week by using cotton buds with oil.
2. Activities (Groupings)
a. Message Relay
Red Team
(Gisakay ang pasyente sa ambulansya. )
Blue Team
(Naminaw og tugtog ang bata og ang mama)
Station 1
drum, bell, whistle
Station 2
guitar, cans, marbles
Station 3
telephone, keys , coins
Yellow Team
( Gikantahan sa mama ang iyahang anak aron makatulog)
b. Art (Ear Mosaic)
Close your eyes and listen to the surroundings. What did you hear? Why can we hear
sounds? Open your eyes and will do an art about ear mosaic.
Directions: Tear the colored paper into pieces and paste it to the given drawing.
c. Cross the Bridge
(There are three stations along the bridge. In every station, they must choose a picture that
shows the uses of our ears so that they can continue to the succeeding stations. If they fail to
choose the correct picture, they will be out of the game. They must select 2 correct pictures
from 3 stations in order for them to cross the bridge.)
d. Singing of “ Concert in the Park”
And there was a concert in the park where no one in the dark, the music was so nice, they
played over twice and the band was playing….

3. Generalization:
What is the use of our ears?
Give a situation that shows the uses of our ears?
How do we take good care of our ears?
4. Application
Story: Si Bettie ug si Bitoy
Mga pangutana:
Kinsa man ang duha ka mag-igsoon sa storya?
Nag-unsa man sila sa bukid?
Unsa man ang nahitabo didto sa bukid?
Unsa ilang nadungog na boto?
5. Valuing:
How important is our ears if there is danger?
Our ears are very important to us especially if there is an incoming danger because it enables
us hear sounds that serve as our warning. Hence, we can prepare for the possible happenings.
We are thankful that God give us ears to hear because not all people can hear. Some people
are born deaf, they cannot hear anything.
IV. Evaluation
Directions: Box the picture that shows the uses of our ears.
V. Assignment
Directions: Draw the things that produce soft and loud sounds that can be found in your home.

3. How important music in teaching science?
Music is an important part of a young child’s growth and development in
teaching science. Music can positively affect the quality of all children’s lives. Through
creative expression in rhythmic movement and listening experiences, music can help
children emotionally and intellectually. Music is important to all programs for Kindergarten
that meets all the expressive, intellectual and creative needs of all Children especially in
teaching science. Music helps us learn because it will: establish a positive learning
environment, create a desired outcome, build a sense of anticipation, energize learning
activities, and change brain wave state (Brewer, 1995).
Music is important in teaching science by providing an environment that is
rich in learning. As a teacher we are always looking for new ways to enhance
student learning and one way to do this is through the use of music and movement in the
classroom. Music in teaching science is vital to the creative educational process. As
educators we need to stimulate the minds of our students. Music is one way of letting the
learners’ emotional quotient livelier and they will gain more meaningful learning through
this, they are more participative in the class. Playing music in the classroom offers many
great opportunities for children. When music is played, research shows the brain is more
stimulated and increases the amounts of information that is retained and recalled. Music
also provides students with strategies to increase their memory and strategies to
improve science skills. “When we keep students active, we keep their energy levels
up and provide their brains with the oxygen-rich blood needed for highest performance”
(Jensen, 2005 p.66).
Music is often an integral part of the preschool and kindergarten child’s school
experience by serving as a method to teach certain curriculum units. Music is looked at as a
multi-sensory approach to enhance learning and retention of academic skills. Music can bring
people together through shared experiences; it can remind us of special times, comfort us
and bring us pleasure and joy (Warner, 1999). He also states that children feel more
successful when they participate in musical activities. Singing, dancing, moving can help
brighten children’s moods.
