Editor's Notes
- #2: Welcome and intros.
- #3: Have this up as they come in the room. Explain they should always use Chrome or firefox as many library resources don’t work in IE or safari
- #6: Explain unihub as gateway and access: off campus as well. They shouldn’t have problems if they always make sure they're logged in.
- #7: Including everything you need to work through the activities today. Get them to follow along – you can either demo or use slides.
- #8: One of these things is the Library Subject Guide. Brief info about what these pages are.
- #10: You’ll find the links for todays activity at the top of the library subject guide for psychology
- #11: Introduce the online quiz. There are instructions and screenshots in the quiz, all the links you will need are in MyUnihub. If anything is not clear just ask. May be useful to have the quiz on one pc and the library resources on another. Mention they can enlarge the pictures. And mention that some of them may have already figured out these resources so please share with each other what you’ve learnt.
- #12: Divide them into groups and hand out images and worksheets. Explain before we look at searching Google and Summon were going to think about topics and the words we use to search for them. Demonstrate finding padlet links, and posting something quickly (double click on a space) and remind them which group No. they are.
- #13: You can extend the 15 minutes if theyre still talking and being productive!
