Putting U in UX Design: A Discussion Starter

Heidi Steiner gave a presentation at the ALA Midwinter Meeting on putting users (U) at the center of UX design for libraries. She discussed the importance of designing from the user's perspective rather than a librarian or developer perspective. She highlighted how library terminology can be confusing for users and provided examples of terms that are unclear. Steiner emphasized designing interfaces that are intuitive and save users time by writing content in a conversational tone.
