Manages validation and qualification activities with Development, Manufacturing, and Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and other groups on projects. Manages the activities of assigned SMEs and contract personnel to ensure the quality of completed work. Provides technical assessment and approval for engineering and process changes. Reviews and approves protocols, reports and data tables generated by subordinates and contract personnel. Ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives. Support, mentor, train and educate suppliers in planning and executing the validation processes,best practices Support with metrics and reporting on critical aspects regarding the health of the overall project. Support the development and implementation of validation procedures, best practices, and training/education programs. Lead internal and external audits and inspections related to component and manufacturing transfers. Provide continuous and rigorous assessment of activities and documentation to assure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and Corporate Policy through the review of qualification and/or validation records at critical phases. Verification of Heat Number/Batch Number/Lot Number/Cast Number, Physical condition (any rust, pitting, distortion or damage), dimensions (thickness, length, width and Schedule for Pipe) and markings on the material To perform and manage all the activities related to QA /QC management system with proper ISO standard of 9001:2008 at site, Carry out Witness Inspections as per customer requirements, Effective application of document control procedures to all ISO documents, assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status. Coordinate with the customers’ representative on all quality matters. Ensure that Safety is properly implemented at site, Make preparation for Management Review Meetings. Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects QC personnel. Review the Project scope of work and look after the Production and Quality activities as per applicable standards and specifications, Update the welders Qualification and records,preparing the welding Summary sheets. Interpreting Codes / Standards / Specifications related to assigned jobs, to maintain welders / welding operator’s continuity log and weekly/monthly/yearly repair rate. Daily login all the observations on the project execution in the logbook. To prepare and certification of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and conduct procedure Qualification test,To maintain welders / welding operators continuity log. To review the MTRs of welding Consumables according to ASME Code and review the Lab test reports of Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification and welding Consumables. To ensure welding works are performed as per approved WPS and only qualified welders performed welding works. Monitoring the Welding and Fabrication work as per drawings. Maintain calibration record of welding machines, electrode backing ovens and all inspection tools and equipments. Implementing and completing the QA Activities and QC Plan.
