REAL TIME PROCESS DATA ( R.T.P.D) & TEXTILE PROCESS UNIT

Basic Concept : Most of latest textile process m/c nowadays is
equipped with PC-PLC function. Further to this, Dongle key for
each machine along with server communication , enables
acquiring data of main process machines like( Singe, CBR,
Merce, pad dry/pad steam, stenter, sanfo etc). Once connected
to Company server, this can be upload through cloud & Data can
be accessed on mobile or at desktop anywhere in & out of
company round the clock.
Benefits: Each Main process machine operation & Energy data
like Sort, Quantity, machine start .stop time, Cause of stoppage,
electricity, steam, water consumption is collected. This data is
further process in useful terms like machine production,
efficiency, Machine utilization & very important ltr/kg, Kg/kg &
lastly cost/kg.
Advantage for Better Implemented R.T.P.D. system.: Continuous
watch shift wise & day wise enables Processers & Engineers to
perform at optimum level along with utility usages.
Scope: Small & Medium conventional Textile process unit is
focusing only on Volume with less on quality & utility. Today's,
Need is to reduce manufacturing cost keeping quality norms.
R.T.P.D. could be most important tool in reducing specific
steam/water consumption. At the same time, Retrieval of
process data month back is very important for QA dept.
Drawback : [1]Huge initial cost for connecting critical machine.
[2]Sometime, operator do not feel the required data of m/c
start/stop, sort,GSM etc. This restricts full fledge advantage.
[3]Cost of steam & water flow meter if not equipped with m/c.
[4]Regular Analysis & counter action not being taken.
