Do not devalue yourself in the marketplace

Allow gray areas to exist…
Sometimes you won’t know the answer

It takes a village to birth and raise a great
brand – lean on your TRUSTED friends
Be careful not to expose your newborn ideas to
everyone – everyone cannot be trusted with
your newborn

Some events happen organically; meaning you do
not orchestrate them… continue to plan but also
allow flexibility to enter and develop in your plan
It is OK to incubate your idea or vision until it is time;
Don’t force a premature birth due to a perceived lack of time
Timing is critical
Often the very best plans are the ones that we do
not create OR design… learn to recognize an
opportunity when it enters into your space –
quickly mourn long-standing dreams and move
onto new ones…
