We learned several key things from conducting audience research interviews and analyzing social media. Specifically, questions must be clear or answers will be unclear, horror films are less interesting to older audiences, giant monster films lack originality, the main audience is 16-30 years old, and films need a clear plot. When designing an opening title sequence, we will keep it simple, ensure an original and authentic plot, make sure the idea is specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time scaled, and present a sub-genre of horror.
