The document describes the design process for mech characters called Robits for the game Robotanika. An initial mech model was modified by artist Andy Phelan, including removing unnecessary details to improve performance. Color designs and additional detailing were added in ZBrush. A socket system was developed to allow mixing and matching of body parts, weapons, and accessories to create variety among the Robit classes. This flexible system supported ongoing iteration and addition of new Robit variants.
