- 3. Pre-Meeting Findings 1. Anything we do needs to be easier -- (i.e. no extra steps) 2. Almost all of us are using instant messaging as a work tool 3. People are either afraid to or simply don’t ask questions 4. Technological change is outpacing our collective ability to stay current

- 8. Instant Messaging PROS: Very handy, quick & easy, messages get queued if you’re not available, you can control who reaches you to some extent. CONS: Tons of apps to weed through, 3rd party IM is not officially supported here at MSKCC Suggestion: Perhaps make our IM preferences known to one another.

Questions & Answers Evolution of the bulletin board Lets users simply ask what they want to know Allows for subject-specific moderators (topic subscription) Allows for anonymous, registered, or special access Facilitates categorization of answers – (i.e. allows a knowledgebase to develop organically)

- 16. iPad/iPhone/Android in the Workplace Use the mskwifi wireless zone to access our sites, tools, etc. FileMaker Go is available on iPhone Camera connection kit for iPad presentations via VGA No VPN access (yet) FileBrowser app (iOS) for not technically authorized Q&A?
