This document presents findings on the importance of articulating theories of change in peacebuilding interventions, derived from a review of 19 projects across Uganda, Nepal, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Key insights reveal that clear theories of change enhance project clarity, target appropriate participants, and link local activities to broader peace processes, though challenges persist in evidence gathering and project evaluation. Recommendations include urging donors to incorporate theories of change in logical frameworks and ensuring that practitioners continuously review their project's assumptions and objectives throughout implementation.
