INTRODUCTION
 The school management system is a large
database system which can be used for managing
school daily work.
 It is multi user system and can be used by
hundreds user at same time.
 Generally speaking, It is platform available for
running on a local area network(LAN)

Motivation
• As every where everyone wants things to be done in an easier
and faster way so I worked on a developed strategy which aims
the development of administrative and management
structures in all the high schools of the country.
• Most of the high schools are already equipped with necessary
hardware and network structures supervision of the Ministry
of education.

Project will cover usually all areas related to an educational Institution
especially School

 Course/Syllabus
 Time table of classes(Period wise)
 Library management
 Inventory system
 Fees management
 Students attendance system
 Students information management
 Communication module
 Certificates awarded
 Canteen

Two different tools were used to develop this
software, Which were namely:-
o FRONT END : Html5, CSS3
oBACK END/RDBMS : PHP, Mysqli

This project work automates school management
system. In the system two applications are developed,
Windows based and Web based. The windows
application takes most of the activities such as offline
student registering, transcript and report card
generation and producing the timetable . The web
application facilities attendance recording by the
homeroom teachers, to view status of students by
their parents . Our solution of the timetable is very
simple. A simple search technique has been used. A
database has been used to enforce constraints and to
store data

. It has been observed that the system successfully
register students, facilitates attendance recording
by the home room teachers and generates various
reports such as report card, transcript and a feasible
timetable satisfying the constraints. It has also been
shown that system facilities to view the status of
students by their parents using the internet.
