- 1. Worksheet 2 – Script Title: Internet safety Author(s): Jacob, Lucy, Josh, Kitty ( Drumstick sound effect) Narrator: Being safe online means knowing your way around the Internet. The net has become a regular part of most of our lives. (Sound effect: Ta-dah sound) Narrator: You must be careful on the Internet, especially in situations such as people asking for personal information. This is an example of what this young online user had to faced. Victim: Well, as usual, I was in a chat room when I received a private message from a unknown person. (Sound effect: Typing sound effects) Victim: We chatted for a few minutes, and the person told me about a new application for a social networking site. The unknown guy said that it was very confusing for him to explain to me how to install it. Victim: He told me to give him my password, and he’ll quickly add it for me. This made me a little uncomfortable Victim: So, I gave the unknown person my user name and password and waited anxiously to hear how things were going, then I realised that the guy had left the chat room. I tried to log into my account only to discover that my password no longer worked. (Sound effect: Computer error sound effects) Interview 1: What a dramatic story that we have heard from this poor victim. Well this story have give us a great idea about how to use the Internet safety right? Interview 2: Now I’ll remind you again never sharing your password is like giving away the combination to your locker. Never share your passwords with anyone, not even your friends. Once you give someone else access to your information, what they do with it is no longer in your control! See ya!!! (Sound effect: the crowd is clapping sound effect)
