- 1. TINT - BEDROOM After days of repeatedly meeting the wrong type of people to make friends out of. Alice throws her bag on the floor and drops onto her bed. Tulpa stands next to her with an exhausted expression. ALICE: Well that was a waste of time. Tulpa nods. Looking over the list of people they had chosen for Alice to meet they look over one final person. Light bulbs appears with Tulpa face lightens up. ALICE: What is it? Am not meeting anyone else! She ignores her imaginary friend, turning away. Tupla attempts to get her attention in different loud and outlandish ways. ALICE: What?! She shouts. Angrily twisting to Tupla scared face. They with shaking hands pass a photo of the last person. ALICE: (Sigh) Am sorry. Ok but this is the last one. Tupla silent cheers and races to the wardrobe. 1 EXT - PEOPLES PARK 1 Alice sits impatiently on a bench. Half expecting the same from the past days. Time passes by Alice gets up and is about to leave. TRUE FRIEND: (shy) Hello...(Fades out) Alice turns around seeing a nervous girl. Tupla sits behind her distracted by something not paying attention. ALICE: (Stuttering) Hello? They both take a seat and interdouced each other. The true friend taps her feet and looks to the floor. This appears a kin to how Alice had begone when meeting new people. (CONTINUED)
- 2. CONTINUED: 2. ALICE: Mine name is Alice (Whispers to Tupla) Tupla? Tupla I need your help. The true freind doesn’t notice the Alice’s odd conversation with herself. TURE FRIEND: Jenny. Mine names Jenny. Am sorry I am kinda....I am no good at talking to new people. Jenny brushes her hair to the side, and quickly glances down at her shoes and looks back at Alice. ALICE: (Smile) I do to. I would never had the courage to meet anyone if it wasn’t for...Never mind. She notices Alice’s lack of attention this time she reactions. TRUE FRIEND: (Weak voice) Are you even listening to me? ALICE: (Nervous Laugh) NO!,NO! its not that its ... its .. ah. Sorry. Tupla appears behid Alice placing their a hand on her shoulder. Tulpa gives Alice a nod. ALICE: (To Tulpa) Are you sure? TRUE FRIEND: (Confused) What?! Why are you talking to yourself? Alice looks down and groans. Feeling uneasy she takes a breathe. Jenny begins to walk away the other way. Alice runs after her. ALICE: (Calls) Wait... wait Jenny I can explain (CONTINUED)

ALICE: Ok but your going to think am crazy so am warning you. (Sigh) I..I have an imaginary friend!... TRUE FRIEND: (Laughs) ALICE: What?! TRUE FRIEND: (Calms down) Nothing. (smirks at Alice) ALICE: Okay... Alice feels reasured and smiles back at her and she moves closer to her. ALICE: Do you do anything fun around here? TRUE FRIEND: I am alway inside... but I did see a cafe over there. ALICE: (adventurous)Cafe it is? LOW ANGLE Both characters exit the scene as they both walk together to the cafe 2 EXT-CAFE 2 LS Alice and Jenny are both sitting opposite each-other. Alice getting distracted by Tulpa the friend having enough final ask. TRUE FRIEND: Why do you keep looking at nothing you seem a bit to distracted .... Are you that bored already? ALICE: (Nervous laugh) No,No ...its that you its just...just I get uneasy talking to new people and I ... crazy don’t I? (CONTINUED)
