The outcome …when the lunch bell rang, many students weren’t showing up. The real problem … wasn’t so much about the food itself, but rather about how it was being served—the design of the lunch experience. “aha moment” … In a world in which students are used to expressing their opinions on social media, they had no voice in shaping their food experience.

- 11. Changing role of design Traditionally design was an afterthought tied to packaging an idea, this has changed to design being at the core. How does this new design role change the way products come together? Are people open to new ways of design thinking?
