Shooting schedule (done)
- 1. Shooting schedule • As our music video was animation, we didn’t have a strict shooting schedule. The aim is to create frames while we have lessons and in our spare time whenever possible. As making the animation is a time consuming process, we decided to split the workload into thirds. This will allow us to finish the work a great deal quicker. We split the workload as follows:
- 2. Who did what Wesley: he is in charge of the opening establishing shot, as well as the initial shots of the 2 characters (raincloud and sunshine) inside the house where they live. He will also do the footage that connects his work with jonjos. Jonjo: jonjo will be tasked with the scene that is set on the hill. Me: I will be producing the opening credits, as well as the final scene in our video, where the 2 characters are happy. I will also be doing some footage that connects my footage with jonjos.
- 3. timeline • Production began on our animation around October time • Wesley first draft finished: 4/11/11 Jonjo first draft finished 11/11/11 my first draft finished 5/12/11 • Wesley revised draft finished 5/12/11 Jonjo revised draft finished 5/12/11 my revised draft finished 10/1/12 • After Wesley had finished his scenes fully, he began working on the footage to connect his work with jonjos. This was completed first time, and didn’t need to be redone • Additional scenes by Wesley finished 13/1/12
- 4. Additional scenes • I also made some of these scenes, to connect jonjos scene to my scene. I started this once my work scenes were completed. Like Wesley, I didn’t need to redo the scenes, as I finished them first time without any issues. Additional scenes by me finished 3/2/12 • When deep in the editing process, we discovered that some of Wesley’s footage was not up to standard and required redoing. This task was handled by Jonjo. He started this task on 27/2/12 and finished on the 6/3/12.
