What’s that? • Google sketchup is a programme designed by google which services for designing 3D models using different types of tools and textures. • 3D buildings in Google Earth are maden usig that programme. • People can desing their own house and try to make the desing appear at Google Earth.
- 3. The Tools Here we add a list of the different tools you can use in the programme. This sections is also in the blog so you can see it faster.
- 4. • Now, I'll explain the tools you can use: -The drawing tools: -Pencil: this tool is designed to create lines and shapes with free form. -Rubber: this tool can erase lines. -Fix form pencil: you can choose between squares,circles and arcs. You can choose the meassurements of the shapes . -The measurement tools: -Tape measure tool: this measures lines and makes reference points on the shapes. -The painting tool: -The painting tool: This is used to paint the different shapes. You can choose between different texture packs and on those there are different variations of that texture so you have got lots of textures to choose. There are also the translucent textures for glass, water textures from sea to pools and different types of leaves.
- 5. • -The extra shape editors: -The pull/push tool: this tool allows us to make our shape 3D. -Moving tool: these allows us to move the junctions between lines. You can choose the movement. -The rotating tool: this services to rotate a shape using the x,y,z reference lines. -The camera tools: -The orbit: this allows us to rotate the shape in 3D view. -The hand: this is used to move the paint in a 2D view. -The zoom: this allows us to zoom in-out the shape in a fixed area.
