Skills i have learnt

- 2. SKILLS During the coursework I have had to learn new skills in order to complete the work which have been time consuming and some what dif ficult. I have had to learn how to use Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, Garage Band and I have also had to go back over Final Cut Pro and get to grips with it again as I have used this in the evaluation stages of my production.

SKILLS Adobe Photoshop Photoshop is a software that is designed to allow you to edit photo’s mainly but also fonts, the reason we have used this software is because it gives you a very professional final product that you can use in your coursework and get good marks for. Photoshop is dif ficult and can take a lot of time to learn however once you have done this it gives you a good final product. I used Photoshop in in my billboard poster and for editing fonts on my newspaper.

Adobe InDesign InDesign is a software that is used by many professionals in the market today, I used InDesign for creating my front and second page of my newspaper which meant I could get the right template and design look I was going for. It was hard to learn how to use InDesign however once I had came to grips with it, it became really useful and necessary in order for me to complete my coursework.
- 5. SKILLS Garage Band Garage Band is a software for editing sound and audio, I specifically used this software for editing my radio trailer. This meant that I could edit my radio trailer to get a professional feel and sound to it, and this is what I have achieved. The sound of the audio is crisp with the ambient sound in the background and some echo's of a football crowd it brings the radio trailer together to sound professional. The software was not hard to learn how to use but it still took some time which was time that had to be spent on my coursework.

SKILLS Final Cut Pro Final Cut is a software which many industry professionals use for editing footage of all dif ferent things, it has an easy to use interface which makes life a lot easier when you are editing a lot of footage. Final cut pro was not a new software for me as I had used it in the previous years however it was used in my evaluation process when I was standing infront of a green screen and interviewing people.
