Public sectors can deliver IT capabilities as a service to enable economic development and citizen quality of life through technology, making communities more competitive and able to generate revenue.

Cloud Defined Private Cloud Analysts define Private Cloud as a style of computing in which scalable and elastic IT-enabled capabilities are delivered as a service to internal customers using Internet technologies. Organizations moving towards Private Cloud are defined by a number of technological and business characteristics. Community Cloud A Community Cloud is a multi-tenant cloud, but whose constituency is limited to a specific community. In this sense the cost is shared across a larger constituent base providing cost savings by sharing assets while a framework for information sharing and collaboration is created.
