Sociolect test

Sociolect refers to the way someone speaks according to their social group or class. Some key factors that influence sociolect are age, gender, education, occupation and class. RP, or received pronunciation, represents the "correct" version of English. While a prescriptive view judges language, a descriptive view objectively analyzes language usage without making judgments. Any of: religion, politics, law, science, sport, journalism Taboo: anything rude/unacceptable in polite conversation. Euphemism: anything that is a polite way of saying it.
