Useful Skill describes how to submit blog posts or websites as hyperlinks through the assignment tab on Blackboard. The process involves choosing the appropriate assignment week, copying the URL of the published blog or website, pasting it into the submission box on Blackboard, highlighting the pasted URL, clicking the hyperlink icon, and pasting the URL into the hyperlink box before submitting. When done correctly, the submitted hyperlink will directly link the teacher to the student's homework page when clicked.

- 2. Something I found useful in this class was the Hyperlink. I would like to show you how to use this successfully. When Ms. Cline would have us submit our blogs to her through the assignment tab on blackboard as a hyperlink I had a hard time at first, so I thought I would try to do a power point demonstration on how it is done.

- 6. After filling in the blog page and publishing it you will highlight the website and right click the mouse, copy, and go back to blackboard. Web Page
- 7. When back on blackboard you need to right click on the mouse and paste your web site in the box. Paste Site
- 8. Next step is to highlight your web site that you pasted in your submission box. Highlight
- 9. After you highlight your web address you are going to click on the hyper link icon. Hyperlink
- 10. Be sure that the URL box is clear before you add the information you want in here. Hyper link box
- 11. Paste your website address in this box and hit submit. This will link your site so all the teacher will have to do is click on the link and it will take her or him directly to your homework page. Paste site
