This document describes SOPAL, a method for recruiting design engineers and MBA interns from IIT Kharagpur and VGSOM. Candidates participate in written and Twitter-based assessments to test their problem solving, communication, and cognitive skills. For the MBA interns, candidates form groups to ask and answer questions and receive peer assessments. Engineering interns propose design solutions and defend them on Twitter. In the end, 4 MBA interns and 14 design interns were selected out of the original pools of 40 and 85 candidates respectively.
