 When editing my opening sequence I decided to
use a soundtrack to go over the top of the original
sounds I recorded in the clips.
 Towards the end of the track I cut it to the right
length and then added a fade so that it wasn’t an
abrupt stop which lets the audience know the video
is coming to an end. When I first put it in, I put it in at
the very start of the film clips but eventually decided
against that due to the fact it didn’t fit with the
action going on around it and therefore started it at
the point where the action properly begins.
 I didn’t include any diegetic sound due to the fact I
already had natural sounds from the clips.
Editing
 When editing my opening sequence I used text
layered over the top of my clips. This was to let the
audience know about who the characters were
and who the casting list was. I put them into an
ordered which best kept to the match on action
and continuity of the opening sequence, this also
helped to establish a storyline better as if it was
muddled no one would understand it. I had to
change the contrast and brightness settings on
the last few clips due to poor visibility. I also
included titles in-between clips to further explain
    my plot.
Organisation
 In order to have all the right clips and not lose
them, I sorted them into various folders so that
I kept all the clips I did on one day in the
same place. This made it easy for me to find
the correct video’s to put into Vegas to cut
and merge with the other clips. In order to
allow for easier rendering and saving, I saved
all my clips in the media E drive. This also
meant that when I came back to editing the
clips, they hadn’t been lost due to missing
    clips etc.
