Firefight broke out in the main battle area of Marawi City on
Monday as government forces prepared for a "final push" against the
ISIS-linked Maute group.
Military and police attempted to flush out the remaining forces
of Maute, Abu Sayyaf, and ISIS out of buildings, including the four-storey
C-M-D Center Point Mall.
According to Brigadier General Restituto Padilla, military has
pushed rebel forces and their snipers out of tall buildings and attempted
