This document provides instructions for using the web tool Stepmap to create customized online maps. - 4. Stepmap Create a customized map online Steps: Login to Stepmap (Create account first) Add username & password Click on “Create a new Map”
- 5. Stepmap Choose the type of Map you want to create (standard or regional)
- 6. Step1 select Map Region zooming on the desire area (aspect ratio) define Map Style (Flat, topography1, topography2, neutral) colorize Countries and/or National Parks Continue to step 2
- 7. Step 2 Add additional Display Options (capitals, country names, …) Latitudes Longitudes And continue to step 3
- 8. Step 3 add Places (title or location, position location, add Texts, draw Lines add place Icons and continue to step 4
- 9. Step 4 Make Map interactive: Add descriptions, links, Images, and videos Continue to step 5
- 10. Add a Map title add description add keywords and save it Step 5
- 11. You can download map You can embed map You can share map Or you continue to My Maps Or create new Map
- 12. Click on the Embed map, and choose the “Alternative Embed code without Java script” Copy the code to Twinspace
