- #22: El nuevo programa marco (Horizonte 2020) pretende enfocar su actuación a los retos de la sociedad europea (envejecimiento, salud, demografía, medioambiente, energías limpias, etc.) y a la mejora de la competitividad. Se basará en tres pilares (ciencia excelente, liderazgo industrial y retos sociales) que acumulan el grueso de la financiación (entre el 80 – 90% de los 80,000 millones). Las características de H2020 son: Integrar la cadena de valor desde la idea al mercado. Dar mayor cabida a iniciativas bottom up –desde el beneficiario, que propongan qué cosas financiar. Facilitar la participación Simplificación administrativa. El 20% del presupuesto de los proyectos en consorcio es para financiar a las PYME En el anterior VII Programa Marco el objetivo era el 15%
