Survey results
- 2. The results for the question, show that most of the people who filled out our survey for us were under the age of 18. The reason for this, was most probably because we shared the link on our Facebook pages and our twitter pages, and as we are under 18, most of our friends on there are going to be under 18 as well. This probably does not really do our survey results any justice, as the main target audience for our film genre are mainly above the age of 18, we think.
- 3. The reason for this question in our survey, was purely to see if there was any difference as to whether or not males would rather watch a psychological thriller than females, but over all, only 15% of people, which is equivalent to 3 people that took our survey said they would rather watch a psychological thriller. So it didn't’t really make a difference.
- 4. The results to this question show that the most popular film genre is action, and very closely followed by romantic comedy’s and comedy's. However, this could only be for the age ranges under 18. As, that was the most popular age range of people that completed this survey.
- 5. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR FAVORITE GENRE OF FILM? OR ONE THAT YOU WATCH THE MOST? These were the results of this question and all the different film genre’s people said they preferred, or watched the most of. This helped us to decide what film genre was the most popular.
- 6. DO YOU ENJOY WATCHING POPULAR FILMS? OR ARE YOU OPEN TO WATCHING UNKNOWN, NEW FILMS? These are the results on whether or not the people that completed my survey prefered Popular films or whether they are open to watching unknown and new films. The results Show that the majority prefer watching popular films, however some are open to Watching, new and unknown films.
- 7. DO YOU LIKE STORY LINES OF FILMS TO BE OBVIOUS AND SIMPLE? OR WOULD YOU RATHER WORK OUT FOR YOURSELF WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN AND FOR THE STORY LINE TO BE MORE MYSTERIOUS? These were the results of whether the people preferred the story line of the film to be complicated or simple, as you can see there were some mixed views, however I think a lot more people would prefer to work the story line out themselves.

We included this question to see what age our target audience would be and it proves that the target audience would be 18 or older. This also provides an answer and conclusion to our first question on the survey.
