INTRODUCTION AND HISTORY-
Pragyan college of Nursing was started in the year 2003 under PRAGYAN
PARISAHD With batch of 40 students in an under construction building.
The College was made to enhance nursing knowledge and maintain nursing
standards with total faculties of 12 under guidance of principal.
PHILOSOPHY
The management and faculty of Pragyan
College of Nursing Bhopal believe that
nursing education is to prepare professional
nurses by providing organized learning
experiences ; based on related arts and
sciences by which the individual student
develop knowledge, skills, attitude and
desired efficiency to render nursing care in
restoring and promoting the health of
individual, family and community. Further,
faculty emphasizes to apply relevant theories
in to nursing practice and development of
education, administration and research skills.
They also believe to develop capacity in each
student to examine value by critical thinking
and to develop individual student as unique
person, prospective member of profession
and a good citizen.
