- 3. 3 MOTIVATION Enterprise is an organisation like school or college. ERP software helps the college / school to achieve its goals by using the resources better. ERP software collects the data and gives useful information to make correct decisions. For example when a student joins the college / school his personal information is entered into the system. His name , attendance details, roll number are entered in the system. Like this ERP software helps all the people in a college . It is software which is used to manage all day to day operations for a college. It is a system which is used to manage student data. In this system we can take attendance , update and delete records of student and faculty. ERP stands for “Enterprise resource planning”
- 4. 4 OBJECTIVES The “Attendance ERP” is designed to handle the attendance requirement of institutes and colleges of all sizes. • Attendance management module marks attendance of students and showcases the performance of the students to the respected faculties in their subjects. • It simultaneously reflects number of students attended the class, percentage of attendance, number of defaulter. • The academic monitoring module provides teaching staff and students a unique login Id.
- 5. 5 METHOD INQUISITION : Attendance ERP V1 : It was based on static pages rather than dynamic pages which created the issue of uniqueness for each user or we can say problems related to “Privacy” occurred. Attendance ERP V1.1 : It will be “Dynamic” in nature with maximum privacy for each user and it will also have easier user interface than earlier version. TOOLS AND PLATFORM : • XAMMP . • Windows 7 Home version . CODING & DATABASE : • Front end: HTML , CSS , JAVASCRIPT. • Back end: Mysql 5.1.36, PHP .
- 6. 6 ANALYSIS AND RESULT IMPLEMENTATION: • STUDENT MODULE • FACULTY MODULE • ADMIN MODULE PROBLEM : Maintaining the privacy and security of each user and at the same time not hindering the ease of work on the software in addition to maintaining the transparency of the system to the respective user as per their requirement. SOLUTION : To achieve this idea use of separate module will be implemented as well as use of better “data encapsulation” techniques and proper “database” will be maintained . Use of “loop statements” will be encourage to make page more dynamic and easier to load from database to the front end. No data shall be stored at the front side program and any data which has sensitive information shall be “encrypted” at the back end.
- 10. 10 FUTURE SCOPE As high-end technological advancements continue to emerge at warp-speed. Tomorrow’s ERP technology hints at fortifying the ability of businesses to make more informed decisions and indulge in smart business. • More user-friendly ERP systems With increased influx of next-gen workforce in organisations, we are sure to see a huge number of highly user-friendly ERP systems to come up in the near future. • Mobility and wearable technology to turn dominant Whilst industry experts stress more on cloud and SAS, mobility will be primarily dominant in the ERP market by 2020. More and more number of folks are used to handheld devices in their personal lives thus, would prefer using ERP systems from their mobile devices even when on the go. Presently it does some of the basic function but changes can be made to make it more attractive and dynamic.
- 11. 11 CONCLUSION: The current ERP system can take the attendance, update attendance also it can update the record of students and faculties. More work needs to be done on the ERP pages to make them more “Dynamic” and have an easier user interface than the original or previous version of the software. Presently this software works for the small batches and can handle limited amount of data with “limited amount of security features”.
