DEFAULTER LIST GENERATOR

Abstract – In the present situationallthecollegerelated work
such as timetable generation, taking attendance and making
defaulters list of students, other related work as like ERP
system and measuring the performanceofateacheraccording
to the attendance given by the students is done manually. The
main purpose and objective of this project is to get /take
attendance digitally. All these tasks are time consuming and
also require a lot of efforts and resources.to overcome this
problem we have used heuristic approach which form the
scheduling task that consist of mapping class, faculty, date,
subject work on dashboard handled by admin .The main
purpose of our system is to reduce the work load of teachers
and also be cost effective and a quick respondent system.
1. INTRODUCTION
In most educational institutions and colleges learning and
extra activities are taken as a vital exercise for transfer of
knowledge. This signifies that attendance of college and its
importance and other institutions ERP work like student
attendance, timetable generation, Exam marksdata,Student
date, etc. these all tasks are one of the main work. Many
conventional methods for attendance and other attendance
management relatedwork areadoptedbymostcolleges.One
of the most common method for this purpose is paper work.
But, nowadays this method is very old and using these
methods there is chance of causing of cheating about
attendance where anyone can marksanyone’sattendance or
make change easily. Besides, these types of paper datacould
easily lost or misplaced at any place.
A strict aim specially to prevent students cheating about
their attendance, where a lecturer calls the name each
student and mark their attendance manually, such methods
are proven that they are difficult and not sure and main this
method takes more time of particular lecture. Some of
automated attendance system present in world. But, there
are some functions not available in that systems. So, there is
need of updated automated attendance system.
Therefore, it is our objective to develop an android
automated attendance application with online database,
attendance reports, student details, attendance proofs,
especially to cause of data prevention and make all work
paperless as suitable to our green environment with
localhost dashboard of an admin. Thus, this application will
take surety of attendance and takes less time compared to
paper work and make the institute more smart by using our
application system. With that we have planned for future to
get attendance also by scanning unique QR code scanning.
2. LITERATURE SURVEY
[1]Siti Aisah Mohd Noor, Norliza Zaini, Mohd Fuad Abdul
Latip, Nabilah was introduced Android based Automated
Attendance System in 2015. In this they develop an app for
the teacher/staff taking attendance of the student in which
we have to create student profile for the first timeandwhich
will be saved for future use.
[2]Akshay Kumbhar, Kunal Wanjara, Darshit Trivedi, Anay
Khairatkar and Deepak Sharma was introduced Automated
Attendance Monitoring System using Android in 2014. In
this we understood Use of this system cuts down the cost
and complexity of the project as it doesnotcontaintheuse of
hardware rather than android devices.
[3]RaheemaNilofar,KSigappi,RSoundarya,SValliammai,AT
Barani Vijaya KumarwasintroducedAndroidbasedMini Erp
System inv2016. The application is portable as itisusedona
mobile device and improves connectivity between the staff
and the institution. We will use erp for storing data and
creating student profile and generation of reports of
students like defaulter list, detention list and record of
attendance of a student. In this teacher/staff can add, delete
and update information and reports of the students. It
reduces the paperwork required for maintaining the details
and creating reports.
3. SYSTEM ARCHITECHTURE
Our system consists two modules:-
1) USER: User enter in system by entering student id as
primary key provided by an admin and after entering in
system, they can mark attendance by taking photo asa proof
by check-in time and check-out time.
2) ADMINISTRATOR: Administrator can enroll/register
details of student and give unique student id each student
and also change the details of students also give the holiday
and other notification to student user.

5. APPLICATIONS
1. Teacher get the attendance proof with In and Out
time.
2. No need to call roll numbers of each student. They
can mark their attendance by their place.
3. Student will get the holiday notifications.
4. If any student have their phone issue than that
student can mark their attendance by using their
student id.
5. CONCLUSION
The Defaulter List Generator is only the name of our project
but our main project is attendance management
automatically which is done successfully. Our project is
totally android based and automated. Using our project we
keeps all institute data like attendancedata andstudentdata
at admin place. As compare to small project of attendance
our project will take less time and not make cheating of
attendance proxy. This project will help us to take
attendance virtually which gives us advantages of duplicate
attendance. Our project can be accepted by all and it is can

be used as large user based project, we can add many
number of users. We have kept some ideas and features for
future scope like marking an attendance using QR code
which will be unique for everyone, after scanning that QR
code we will get the details of student. It provides location
based tracking of student in which when a student marks an
attendance it gets submit with its actual location so there is
no problem of marking fake attendance. In future we have
decided to add some features like face detection and some
other features to make our project more convenient.
