Context T4LP Training Thursday Wednesday ā€œ The vision for T4LP –  the big pictureā€ ā€œ Medium Term  Outcome Planning.ā€ Friday ā€œ Planning the  Outstanding Lesson.ā€
Outcomes Staff able to break down cycle outcomes into effective outcomes for each week of a cycle. Staff able to use DDI data to inform forward planning of a cycle’s outcomes.
The Task Taking your five year outcome plan – break it down into the outcomes required for Cycle 4 on a weekly basis. Review your DDI data to identify what changes to this ā€œstandardā€ plan are required to address any issues. Then adapt the outcomes if required to ensure that they are clearly measurable.
Extension Should you finish the medium term plan with time to spare: Tomorrow we will be focussing on the challenges and how we plan lessons to address them. In subject teams share your experience of the challenges in terms of: -  What are they? -  Which did you already do? -  Which have you successfully implemented and how? -  Which have you struggled with?

Editor's Notes

  • #2: My vision will be revisited as the goal of the T4LP systems and work, and what all the systems are based around. This will be on board as staff enter for them to discuss.
  • #3: The context of the session will be put into focus – talking about the progression from big picture to medium term planning to lesson planning.
  • #4: Outcomes of today’s session introduced to staff.
  • #5: Faculty time task introduced, then Wendy introduced to explain how and in what format to do it. Task submitted to me by end of day for quality assurance.
  • #6: This will be presented to staff as what to do if they finish early.
