What is social bookmarking? The practice of saving bookmarks (resources) to a public Web site and “tagging” them with keywords. EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative, 2005 You can  save  your bookmarks online,  share  resources,  discover  new links, and  tag  your bookmarks for  sorting  and easy retrieval from any computer.
Question: What’s a “resource”? Answer: Anything with a URL! Includes:  Web sites/pages Articles in a Library Database Files in the Blackboard Content System Videos on YouTube Anything else you can think of that has it’s own unique URL . . .
