Category / Module Major Requirement Explanation
Asset Master Asset group Asset groups can be defined to segregate assets under one
category. Based on asset group various reports can be generated

Asset type Tangible and intangible items can be created as masters grouped
under certain asset master.

Business unit Business unit are the department where the particular assets will
be sent after purchase

Service type Service types like AMC, monthly check, etc can be defined
through this master. Vendor details can be tagged through whom
services can be done with their standard rates.

Transaction Acquire Assets are received tagged and stored in a location. Warranty
and insurance details are also captured for future reference

Deploy Assets issued to business unit and users who owns it with date
will be captured. Similarly details of asset returned will be
captured.
Maintain Asset upgrade details like spares parts added or removed ,
added date and supplier details are recorded.
Service and support required for the asset are also captured
with details of type of service, supplier details, service charged
and remarks

Retire Asset when sold or disposed, the date of disposal, disposal
value and reason are captured

Audit Asset audit details with audit date and remarks are recorded

MIS Reports Asset type report Report provides information about all the assets types. This
report carries further information like purchase order, asset ID,
serial number and remarks
Asset tagging report Report provides detail of a particular asset type. This report
contains information detail like purchase order of the asset,
location the asset lies currently, etc.
Warranty configuration Report provide the information about the asset warranty period.
report Other information like vendor from whom the asset was
purchased and their contact details are also available in this
report

Insurance report This report is useful to get the information about the type of
insurance allocated for the assets. Report provide information
about the insurance provider, insurance number and validity
period

Issue and return report This report provide information about the issue and return date
of an asset with remarks. Report tells about the asset user and
in which location it is currently present.
Upgrade report This report provide complete history about the up gradation
done for an asset. Spare parts addedremoved, vendor details,
date on which the action was taken with remarks are displayed

MIS Reports Service report This report provide information about the servicing done to an
asset. Date of service, service type, vendor details, servicing
charges and action taken details are displayed
Retire report Report provides information about the retirement of an asset.
Disposal or sale done to, disposal date, disposal value with
remarks are key parameters displayed in it
Audit report Report provide audit detail of an asset. When the audit was
done and conclusion of it.
