                                    (Task 2-Client Brief)

Contractual:
Is a term that is used to describe the way employers or employees have agreed with signing
a written contract for both parties. It has to be a formal meeting face to face where both
have to officially decide whether or not to sign a written contract. If both agree then there
are laws put into place in which they both have to adhere to in order to make the contract
official where this includes things within the Terms and Conditions such as, Costs etc. In
addition to this, the contract may be drawn up by solicitors who represent certain
companies in relation to clients who are working within a media organisation. In relation to
the CAMSFC (Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form College) I would have to make an official
agreement between the client of a media company and the creator of the media product
which is myself.

Formal:
The terminology behind `Formal` is where you officially and lawfully carry out business
proceedings so that it makes it easier for the client to read and be able to produce the
media product more quickly and efficiently. The formal brief gets straight to the point and
doesn’t include unnecessary detail or information. In relation to the CAMSFC (Cheadle and
Marple Sixth Form College) I would have to have a face to face discussion about the main
aspects of a media product whether it is altering original intentions or expanding on ideas
for the product.

Commission:
Is where someone is paying you for your own work ethic for creating a product for any
services you may provide where this can be known as `Remuneration”.An example of such
as project that you are paid for would be to produce a website or something related to a
media product for a business. In relation to the CAMSFC (Cheadle and Marple Sixth Form
College) the college itself would be paying students for the produce potential media
products materials as part of their own experience in learning how to deal with completing
any tasks related in order to get paid. Many parties maybe involved in the earlier stages
before going ahead with any venture and the best would be nominated and given the
commission.

Competition:
The term `competition` is where creators of the media products compete in order to
produce the best results as possible for their target customers. It can also be used to
describe and explain how producers of a media product go about making better media
products in comparison to another one. In relation to the CAMSFC (Cheadle and Marple
Sixth Form College)me as the creator of a particular media product such as, animation
would have to ensure that it is more than up to standard in order to compete with other
creators of a media product
