Here we downloaded audio that we
created in the software “garage band”
and uploaded it onto final cut pro. The
audio was then edited by using basic
EQ settings. For the characters voices
we used a low past filter to cut out any
high frequencies in the characters
voices.
For the music track I included a “mid
boost” to boost the sound of the mid
frequencies as they seemed very quiet
when listening to it with the characters
movements and voices.
Final cut Pro
Another aspect of final cut pro was the
effects. Here we were able to alter the
visual image of each shot by including
and combining different types of effects to
achieve a thriller atmosphere for our
opening sequence. We had a range of
different effects, but we chose cool steel
and a desert effect.
From using these effects I learnt that we
are able alter shots according to there
environment. For example we were able
to make a create a difference between
inside and outside shots in our opening
sequence.

Audio track
We used Garage band to create our music tracks for our opening
sequence. We did this by playing around in the key of C minor
and used the computer keyboard as a keyboard. We used the
uploaded sounds as well from garage band to use as sound
effects for certain movements.
From using garage band I leant that having a audio track along
side a film can help reflect the emotions that the director would
want to portray to the audience. Sometimes music must be
included to magnify the point of view that film makers want to
portry.

Effects
Display screen
For YouTube, we were able to upload or opening sequence for
the public to see. Here I was able to change the video my
adding or altering effects under the control bar.
YouTube was very useful as it allowed us to produce a final
product that was able to witnessed by everyone which is
something that is very important for all film producers.
From YouTube I learnt that it is very easy to display films to the
general public with very minimum effort.
