THE MOVIE .
• IT CAN BE AN ADVANTAGE BECAUSE
IF WE RELEASE THE MOVIE ON A WIDE
RANGE OFD MEDIA PLATFORMS,
TEENAGERS WILL BE THE FIRST ONES
TO GET IT AS THEY SPENT MORE TIME
ONLINE THAN OTHER AGEGROUPS
AND IT IS EASIER TO ATTARCT
TEENAGERS.
• AT THE SAME TIME IT CAN BE A
DISADVANTAGE BECAUSE THEY
ALWAYS WANT NEW IDEAS OR A NEW
CONCEPT . SO EVEN IF IT’S EASY TO
GAIN THEIR ATTENTION, IT MIGHT
TARGET AUDIENCETHE MOVIE IS MAINLY FOR 14-16
YEARS OLDS AS THEY ARE THE ONES
WHO ARE MORE ACTIVE IN SOCIAL
MEDIA SITE AND OTHER MEDIA
PLATFORMS.
IT IS COMMON FOR TEENAGERS TO
GET INTO TROUBLE BECAUSE IN REAL
LIFE, MORE IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD
THEY INTERACT WITH STRANGERS
AND EASILY TRUST THEM. IT IS VERY
COMMON FOR THEM TO CHAT WITH A
STRANGER OR ACCEPT SOME
STRANGERS REQUEST BOTH IN REAL
AND VIRTUAL LIFE.
MOREOVER THEY HAVE A SHORT SPAN
OF ATTENTION. SO ITS EASY FOR TO
MAKE THEM WATCH A 10 MINUTES
LONG SHORT FILM INSTEAD OF AN
HOUR LONG MOVIE.
TEENAGERS TEND TO TRUST STRANGERS
WITHOUT KNOWING THEIR TRUE
IDENTITY OR FACE
TARGET AUDIENCE
NOT ONLY TEENAGERS, THE FILM ALSO AIMS AT A SPECIFIC SOCIAL CLASS PER
INCOME. FOR EXAMPLE , UPPER CLASS TEENAGERS WON’T RELATE TO THE MOVIE
IF IT’S BASED ON A LOWER CLASS SOCIETY OR FAMILY……THEN AGAIN THE
LOWER CLASS CAN. MOSTLY HORROR MOVIES ARE BASED ON THE STORY OF A
REGULAR MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY OR TEENAGERS . SO MOST IF THE HORROR
MOVIES ARE AIMED AT MIDDLE AND LOWER CLASS AUDIENCE WHO ARE IN
LARGE NUMBER IN POPULATION AND VIEWERS AS WELL .
PURPOSE OF PRODUCTS
• THE PURPOSE OF THE PRODUCT IS
TO ENFORCE A MESSAGE TO THE
TEENAGERS ABOUT TALKING TO
STRANGERS ( REAL-LIFE AND
VIRTUALLY)
• THE MOTIVE OF THE MOVIE IS TO
RAISE AWARENESS.
• IT’S RELEASING ON HALLOWEEN
BECAUSE THE NUMBER OF THESE
KINDS OF INCIDENTS INCREASE.
• TEENAGERS LOVE THRILL, SO THEY
ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET EXCITED
OVER HORROR MOVIES. ITS LIKE
GIVING G THEM AN IMPORTANT
MESSAGES THROUGH A THING THEY
LIKE
PLATFORMS FOR DISTRIBUTION AND
CONSUMPTION
AS IT IS A SHORT MOVIE, ZED STUDIOS CANNOT RELEASE IT AS DVD OR BLUE
RAY. PEOPLE WILL NOT BUY DVDS FOR A SHORT FILM. WE NEED TO CONSIDER TO
