EIF Project: Extension of the UC Learning Hub: A Learning Environment at the Heart of Campus The project will expand facilities for informal, self-directed learning and access to collaborative learning spaces for both students and staff – combining virtual, physical and social learning environments. 65. email feedback • My initial impression is of a amazingly technically-supported range of flexible spaces for working away from the office. Amidst the latest in learning technologies, I loved the write-on wall. No white boards, but especially painted walls (those that have a sticker on) that give space to 'spread your mind'. Faculty of Education • Its magical what a combination of technology, design and thoughtful planning can do. I am sure the staff and students will use it well. Research Office • The Nursing & Midwifery staff were so impressed with the teaching commons that our new Head of Disciplines has asked if we can use the space for our Research and Scholarship workshops.
