- 9. Geo tech The fabrics in geo textiles are permeable fabrics and are used with soils having ability to separate, filter, protect or drain. The application areas include civil engineering, earth and road construction, dam engineering, soil sealing and in drainage systems.
- 10. Home tech Technical textiles for home or house hold purpose. Fiberfil, Mattress and pillow components, Carpet backing cloth (Jute & Synthetic), Stuff toys, Blinds, HVAC filters, Filter cloth for vacuum cleaners, Nonwoven wipes, Mosquito nets
- 11. Indu Tech Textile for industrial purpose Strongly woven , high strength , heat and high temperature controlling elements.
- 12. Mobi Tech Textiles for transport, automobiles and space Truck cover, car trunk coverings , lashing belts for cargo tie downs, seat covers , airbags, parachutes, boats (inflatable), air balloons.
- 13. Pack Tech Textiles helpful in packaging and other similar activities Includes Packaging, silos, containers, bags, lashing straps, canvas covers, marquee tents.
- 14. Pro tech Protective textiles. To provide safety at the work place Designed to provide high value protection, against hazards
- 15. Sports tech Suitable for all sports activity, like climbing cycling, swimming etc
- 17. AKA Electronic textiles, E- textiles Those fabric which are developed with the new technologies Ability to do what traditional fabrics can’t
- 18. Aesthetic Fabrics that increase the aesthetic value Example: light up fabric, Color changing fabric
- 19. Performance Enhancing Providing different techniques with the fabric to enhance the physical performance of the person
- 20. Focus on seamless designs More of technologically sound equipments, like sensors, microcontrollers Not only for wearable purpose But for Home Interiors purpose as well

- #8: Utility: Agrotextiles are beneficial in terms of increase in yield, lesser crop diseases, soil borne pathogens control, water saving, weed control, etc. It improves the quality of the crops. The growth of the plants is accelerated and they are protected from adverse weather conditions and vermin.
