Blogging can be used to address two problems in a health education classroom: 1) incorporating writing across the curriculum as required, and 2) improving students' writing skills. The teacher will guide students through setting up blogs and posting assignments. Students will blog to respond to open-ended questions and comment on each other's posts about health topics. Blogging provides opportunities for student engagement, collaboration, and improved attitudes and writing. It allows students to become experts on health subjects and take ownership over their learning.
