James Hargest College's Tertiary Prep Unit aims to enhance information literacy skills for students from years 7 to 13, bridging the gap between secondary and tertiary education. The program, initiated in 2010, includes various sessions focusing on online research, note-taking, academic libraries, and a field trip to a university library. Future plans involve making the program sustainable and evaluating its effectiveness among students.
