- 2. Tool Factory Phonics 1 Sound Menu Quit the program. Back to the main menu. Make words using the letter ‘a’. Find the sound ‘a’ in the words of the poem. Listen to a poem based around the sound ‘a’. Listen to the Poem Find the Letter Make Words Distinguish Sounds Listen to the poem. The words highlight as they are spoken and the focus phoneme stays highlighted. Click on all the focus phonemes in the words. A counter at the side tells you how many are still to be found. Click and drag the letters into the white areas to make words. Click and drag the pictures and words into the correct orange area. Quick Reference Guide Quit the activity you are in or quit the program. Go back a page when in an activity. Go ahead a page when in an activity. When this button appears on the screen during an activity, click on it to be given a clue to complete the activity.
