I personally found Gothic style churches to be more architecturally appealing than the Romanesque
ones. The reason for this is Gothic churches were filled with light and thin, towering walls. These
characteristics were very uncommon for the dark, thick structures of Romanesque architecture. The
structure was able to be filled with such light due to three very important architectural elements. These

Last week I visited the George Caleb Bingham Gallery to see an artist s work. Her name was Mary
Margaret Sandbothe and her collection of art was at the MFA Thesis Exhibition. Now, I am not one for
looking at art and being able to interpret it easily, but when I arrived to see her work I was pleasantly
surprised. I was in awe of artwork at first glance.
First, what I noticed was that the main overlook of all her pieces included same sex relationships or
couples. Furthermore, it exemplified families with same sex parents. For example, there was one piece

significance and trustworthiness of the study. Paying attention to these details along with limitations
and existing bias can allow you to gather more valid information and be aware of unreliable sources.
