How do you conceive the role of the new technologies in education? Technology is a “mere vehicle” as said Richard Clark. Nevertheless is important to know how to use it to take advantage all his potential. The new technologies allow us to improve the way how we bring the knowledge, how we build the knowledge, how we work (collaboratively), how we communicate (synchronous, asynchronous), how we interact with…(content, facilitator, and between students), how we evaluated, etc. The role of the new technologies it will depend on the context of the teaching. We have to be sure of which techno-pedagogical model we want to use for each teaching. Which is the better model to apply? Which are the learning objectives and the content and how the technology can help us to achieve them? Etc.
How would you define the concept of instructional design? The instructional design is a sort of process that we use to plan a training. The commoner model of instruction design is the model ADDIE (Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
On what theoretical elements would you base a pedagogical innovation including the ICT? The theoretical elements that I would base in any pedagogical innovation including the ICT it would be Pedagogical  model, Technologic model, Instruction design model and always keeping in mind the kind of course we are design; face to face, blended learning, synchronous e-learning, asynchronous e-learning, self-learning, etc., which are the learning objectives, the public target, the content, activities to evaluate the learning objectives, etc.
What are the key elements of any ICT-based pedagogical design? In any pedagogical design the key elements are: The learning needs The public target The learning objectives The content How to measure the outcomes In the specific case of ICT: The level of technologies knowledge of the students How we can use technology to improve the experience of learning?
