The hacker art of the title
- 2. 1st Frame The first frame in The Hacker is a black background with the producers name which clearly shows the audience who the film is by as its in center screen and is the only thing on the screen showing so people notice it easily. The text showing the persons name is in capitals so its stands out to the other text around it and thus making his name seem superior.
- 3. Second, Third and Fourth Frame The second, third and fourth frame are all similar because they each show the star actors in the movie in the second and third frame and then the directors name in the fourth frame. This has been done so the audience know which actor is whom in the movie. This is effective because they are in the main text at the beginning of the movie opening showing their importance. The fourth frame is showing the director of photography’s name. This is because it’s the last frame to have text on it and means that it will be what the audience could remember the most as this is another important role in making the film which deserves a lot of credit.
- 4. 4th and 5th frame The fourth and fifth frame in The Hacker shows a shot reverse shot. This also done as an establishing, such as it shows him on a plane looking out the window, then it shows his face inside the plane from a shot taken outside the plane and has the reflection of the city that he is traveling towards. This is effective because it has both his face in the shot along with the famous building in new yolk which he is going towards.
- 5. 6th and 7th frame Firstly the 6th frame is showing the components of a computers motherboard which changes from big towers in new yolk into the parts of the computer. Then the seventh film is showing the film title on the background of the motherboard which sets the theme nicely when its all about computers. This is effective because it allows the audience to understand the mind of the protagonist and how he doesn’t see roads and buildings but computer components.
- 6. Final frame The final frame is showing the protagonist in his room later in life which shows that once he gets back to his computer he will go back to what he wants to do which is hacking. This is effective because it introduces the reader to what the whole story line will be about and him getting back into hacking.
