That's not a VLE it's a repository.
That's not a repository it's a content management system.
That's not a CMS it's a VLE.

 VLEs were first seen as content management systems for HE
 Are they?
 Do they do a good job at content management?
 Are they anything else (as well)?
 VLEs have also been seen as repositories of teaching and
learning materials

doesn’t make a similar claim, doesn’t follow that the other’s
system doesn’t also have similar capability.
