- 3. Rotary nickel titanium were first introduced clinically in 1993 in represent a real shift in endodintic New design have been introduced over the years attempting to make these instrument more efficient, more flexible and safer in the term of file seperation
- 4. Current rotary file systems are effective tools. - 5. Is a shaping and cleaning system designed for minimally invasive endodontic treatment
- 6. The new SAF technology uses a hollow compressible Niti file, with no central metal core , through which a continuous flow of irrigant is provided
- 8. The SAF has lattice like design makes the instrument extremely flexible in all three dimentions to fit the cross section of the canal at any vertical location

- 28. 2-SAF proSystem:- include the endostation endodontic motor The Endostation is a multi functional endodontic motor that enable the user to operate various endodontic system including SAF and all major brands of rotary and reciporcating file
- 29. The Endostation include peristaltic pump and irrigation system The irrigation system are operated by foot pedal
- 30. A large LCD screen and audio are used to indicate the flow rate , working time and battery status

When comparing with other rotary system there is economic value thanks to the SAF because of the additional clinical benefits including avoidance of post operative pain, highly efficient endo treatment, the ability of improved cleaning and disinfection in short time with less risk and less complication
