Lab

sign
a

consent
form
and

are
told

protocol
for
the

tests

Users

guided
by

a
facilitator
as
they

perform
given
tasks

The
client
and
a

notetaker
observe

the
user
performing

tasks.

AWer

completes
tasks,

the
facilitator

conducts
an

interview
with
the

user.

When
the
interview

is
over,
the
user

receives
small

compensa@on
(if

client
desires)

Usability
consultants
analyze
data
and

create
a
report.
