- 2. 92% of the ocean floor is below 10 degrese.Sometimes when you get in a pool it is cold and sometimes it is warm that’s because of the weather and it’s the same as the ocean but only at the top of the water.
- 3. Only some fish can live in different parts of the ocean and that’s because of the oceans climate. Did you know the temperature of the water where the great white shark lives is 10-24 degrees.

- 5. Did you know there are 3 types of zones in the ocean ,the sunlight zone which is the lightest part of the ocean, the twilight zone, is light but not as light as the sunlight zone and the midnight zone, witch is pitch black and is very cold.
- 6. The world has 5 oceans and they are the Atlantic ocean, the Arctic ocean, the Indian ocean, the Pacific ocean and the Southern ocean or the Antarctic.
- 7. There is a lot of different types of algae in the ocean including red algae, green algae, brown algae and more. Brown algae is the largest type of algae and it is found in arctic waters.
- 8. Seaweed is mostly green but it can be different colours as well as red or brown. It sucks in sunlight which sucks in carbon dioxide and it turns it into carbohydrates. Seaweed does not grow on sand it has to attach itself to a hard surface like rocks or even a boat.

- 12. The natural length of time for a sea horse to live is about 1-5 years or 7 if there are properly fed . They a found in the twilight areas of the ocean so they get plenty of sunlight and warmth.
- 13. The smallest fish in the ocean is the stout infant fish and it is as skinny as a pencil and is 1/18th of an inch long, do you think that is small? Well I know I do.

- 15. Because the ocean covers ¾ of the earth is simply everywhere but there is some places with a lot of ocean around them like Uruguay, USA, Brazil, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and many more witch border the Atlantic ocean.
- 16. The Indian ocean is bordered by many countries including Pakistan, Iraq, Jordan, Thailand, Egypt, Bangladesh, India, Burma, Malaysia and many more. Some countries border two or even more oceans like South Africa witch borders the Indian ocean and the Atlantic ocean.
